Mikoshi no Kuni ② (Mikasa Shrine)

Due to the busy period leading up to the New Year and our services during Hatsumode, there will be significant delays in shipping amulets, talismans, and other items ordered through our online store from approximately December 20th to January 10th. Please note that we will still accept orders during this period, but we will process them sequentially as our shrine duties allow. The city of Omuta, where our shrine is located, was once known as the land of Miike. The origin of the name "Miike" is said to come from a giant tree, Miki, that once towered over the area. It is said that this tree would obscure Mount Kijima (Takeo City) when the morning sun shone on it, and Mount Aso when the evening sun shone on it. A single picture is completed by combining the Goshuin of Kumano Shrine and Mikasa Shrine. The material is cypress. It will be sent as a pre-written goshuin. Goshuin are proof that you have established a sacred connection with our shrine through your visit. Upon arrival, please first worship our shrine from afar at your home, offer your daily gratitude and prayers, and handle it with reverence.
