Guardian deity of the North, "Genbu" - Kingdom of Oki -
Due to the busy period surrounding New Year's preparations and Hatsumode (first shrine visit of the New Year), there will be significant delays in the shipping of amulets, talismans, etc. from the Official Shrine Shop (juyosho - shrine office for conferring amulets, etc.) from approximately December 20th to January 10th. Applications will still be accepted during the aforementioned period, but they will be processed sequentially depending on the shrine's operations.
This goshuin features Genbu, the guardian deity of the north, one of the Four Divine Beasts. As the enshrined location of our shrine was once called "Miki no Kuni" (Land of Trees), the goshuin is calligraphed on wood paper made from Japanese cypress.
A goshuin is proof of your connection to our shrine through your visit. Upon its arrival, please first remotely worship our shrine from your home, offer your daily gratitude and wishes, and handle it with utmost care.
